At the edge of the wild, where foxglove nods in the twilight and hares slip through the dusk, there is a place where stories take root. This is where my art begins.
I am Nightshade, an artist, poet, and writer, forever drawn to the wild, dark, and deep. My work is shaped by fairy tales, folklore, and the strange, whispering beauty of nature-the stories that live in the tangled brambles and the hush between wingbeats.
Through watercolour, acrylic, and fine ink, I capture the creatures that dwell at the threshold between this world and the next. My illustrations seek to reclaim the forgotten magic of the natural world, to weave a thread between myth and memory, shadow and light.
Welcome to The Pink Fox Herbarium—a space where half-remembered stories stir, where the old paths still call, and where enchantment lingers just beyond the hedgerow.
